Inspired by the one who taught me how to care
History & mission
I am a clinical nutritionist and, after a decade working with people living with autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, as well as digestive symptoms, I realised something was missing between food, supplements and medication: a natural and practical option that could become part of the daily routine of those who need comfort, less bloating, fewer reactions and more lightness.
Zaida Tea was created as a complement to my clinical work and to support the gut health of the clients followed by my team.
EVERY BLEND
HAS A REASON TO EXIST.
I think about the digestive enzymes activated by ginger, the relief fennel can bring to gas, the liver support of turmeric, or the calming effect of mint.
Science validates the power of plants. We simply need to know how to use them, respecting their dose, their combination and the right moment.
But the brand was not born from technical knowledge alone. It carries the name of my grandmother Zaida, who taught me to love tea.
At my grandparents’ home, close to the mountains, the nights were cool even in summer, and there was always chamomile tea before bedtime. As a teenager, my mother kept the ritual alive, growing and drying leaves herself. Both taught me that plants can support our health, even if they did not know how to explain why. Today, I do.
Yet with the hectic pace of modern life experienced by myself and thousands of others, there is not always time to prepare an infusion the old-fashioned way with dried leaves and slow steeping.
I looked for practical options in sachets, but the more I researched, the more concerns emerged. Most tea bags available on the market contain microplastics which, when exposed to hot water, release thousands of invisible particles that accumulate in the body. Studies suggest they may cross the intestinal barrier, affect the hormonal system and contribute to chronic inflammation.
This is why we use only fully biodegradable filters made from plant-based material derived from corn starch, safe for your body and for the planet.

I moved forward with the brand only when I found every requirement and ideal I believed to be essential: choosing the blends myself, ensuring organic certification, guaranteeing zero microplastics and working with a European factory that meets the highest quality standards.
Zaida is an extension of my work as a nutritionist and of my personal story.
It is the conscious use of plants and phytotherapy, rooted in both tradition and science.
And it shows that even on the hardest days, a cup of tea can be the simple and obvious step we need to start caring for ourselves again.
Cheers!
